S.T.E.A.M mind map

Today we did a mind map about S.T.E.A.M it is about technology and engineering and sciences and Art and maths.

In the beginning of the year I was grade 1. Now I am grade 3. My best grade was grade 4.

Space Art

I drew a picture of a moon and I also drew different tips of circle in the moon. Then I shaded the little circle using my fingers. When my moon was done I used dye to colour the coffee fitters, I used hot and cold colours. Then I used big, small and medium circles to cut out circles from the coffee fitters. When all of that was done my teacher cut out a black cardboard paper and then we splashed white paint all over the black cupboard paper to make stars. Then we glued all of the circles and the moon on the black cardboard paper.

Matariki

Today we went to the hall to celebrate Matariki. We had sausage sizzles before we went to the hall. We had the junior kapa haka perform first. After the  junior kapa haka we watched a little video about Matariki. After that it was time for the pacific group to perform. After that it was time for the ukulele group to perform their song. Then the last group to perform was the senior kapa haka.
